Frostfoot is a handsome tom - to say the least. He is a stunning ginger tabby, his pelt fitting well over his muscular body like a fire wrapping around his strong build, strangling him in its fury. Darkly ringed tail twining behind him, he is silent in the night, his feet sliding among the snow with less than a whisper. His paws are gorgeous, contrasting in colour against his fiery pelt. They are snowy white with a hint of a hint of a silver tinge in the moonlight. Hidden beneath, are wicked talons, black as ash.

The tom's eyes are an intense purple, glittering like amethyst, with stunning aqua-hued flecks framing the iris. His ears are small, rounded, fitting his head quite nicely; one is torn from an encounter with a snowy owl when he was a kit. His whiskers are smooth, long and quiver with curiousity often. His muzzle is pointed, though not too long, and he has a white splotch just left of his nose.

He is the desire of many she-cats, though only one could ever regain his heart.


Personality:

Despite his chilly name, Frostfoot is quite a warm-hearted tom, true to his pelt fur. He is caring, and very loving to his family and friends when with company; however, when he withdraws within himself, it is quite different. In seclusion, Frostfoot sinks into a sort of depression, sad and lonely. A loyal warrior to his last breath, he would never betray SnowClan or harm any of his Clanmates willingly - which is why he hurts so strongly, the pain piercing his tender heart.

He had used to be naive, a young and carefree feline, ignorant of what lay behind his territory. He had thought SnowClan held it all, not knowing that there was much more to offer in unfamiliar lands. He held SnowClan in such high regards - and still does, despite all that has happened to him. Now, he seems to be older than his moons, aware of the pain and suffer in his world and much wiser for it. He is a thoughtful mentor, understanding his apprentice's carefree and ignorance - for he had once been that way.

Unfortunately, he can't stand to love again after the distaster with Silentsong. Seeing her wrenches his heart from his chest, and he does not want to get over her. He is dwelling over the past though he knows it's not right. Frostfoot doesn't know if Silentsong is over him or not, and he doesn't want to find out. When he sees her, he falls silent, polite and not doing anything that would stir feelings within either of him. He hates how much it hurts, but he knows that with any attempt at rekindling the fire, the flames would burn him only so much stronger.

When battle arises, he reacts different depending on how he feels. He always wants to protect his Clanmates and does so fiercely when in a good mood, however - if he is his secluded self, it takes much more than a battle cry and a shallow scratch to rouse his fury.

History:

Kithood;; Frostkit was born in SnowClan during leaf-bare, and has never known anything other than an affectionate mother and a proud father. His brother - Splashkit- were always by his side as they grew, playing, loving. It was a tough leaf-bare, but both kits were strong and managed to claw through. Unfortunately, their mother caught Greencough and died naught but two moons after their birth. Their father was left to care for them.

One night, just eves before their apprentice ceremony, a snowy owl came flying over the camp and spotted Frostkit just outside the camp. The great bird let out a ferocious cry before diving towards its meal - fortunately, it just missed Frostkit, though its talons tore his left ear to shreds. Frostkit's father came running and attacked the owl, yelling for Frostkit to get inside. The owl put up a fight, but - with the help of another warrior - they managed to defeat the owl. The Clan had a great feast that evening.

Apprenticeship;; Frostpaw and Splashpaw were apprenticed side by side. They both managed to get great mentors; Frostpaw recieved the deputy as a mentor while Splashpaw had their father. They trained as they were raised, playfully, brotherly, growing stronger by the day. The two met new friends, and one she-cat, Flakepaw became a close friend of theirs. She seemed to have a crush on Frostpaw, but he never noticed.

Warrior Status;; On their twelfth moon, Frostfoot and Splashfang were made warriors. They rejoiced even more when Icestar told the brothers they were to go to the Gathering the next night. At the Gathering, under the full moon's truce, Frostfoot bumped into a beautiful tabby she-cat. Her pale fur gleamed in the moonlight, and he could see himself reflected in her shimmering green eyes. This was Silentsong, the mute Medicine cat of SparkClan. The two quickly fell for each other, despite their many differences - starting with their Clans.

When his loyalty and his love clashed in a cruel, unfair fight, he was devasatingly torn between the two. In the end, after Silentsong's father threatened her, he had to give her up. It had always been clear that they could not have been together.

Their father soon retired and is now residing in the elder's den, meanwhile Flakefur and Splashfang have become mates. Flakefur currently is pregnant with Frostfoot's brother's kits. And, recently, Frostfoot has been thinking of following in Silentsong's pawsteps and becoming a medicine cat. SnowClan's medicine cat, Moonglow, died at such a young age, leaving behind none to care for the Clan, and Frostfoot been meaning to ask Icestar for permission to fill the position.

He has now earned the position of medicine cat.
