Appearance: Brackenleaf has a pair of bright green eyes the colour of chartreuse, which offsets her pink nose nicely. She is a short-haired tabby with a gray pelt and honey-coloured undertones. Unlike the rest of her body, her stomach has a few splotches of white in a random pattern. It honestly looks like someone just splattered her with white on a paintbrush while she was lying on her back. The only other place a white patch is on Brackenleaf is just below her nose, and it covers most of her mouth. Brackenleaf is slender, with a few strong muscles hidden in her hind legs, reminding those around her that however kind she may be, Brackenleaf is NOT a force to be reckoned with.
Personality: Brackenleaf is now a shadow of her former self. She has found herself, and in doing so has chosen a different path than the one expected of her. She is a peaceful and loving warrior, with a dream to one day become a queen. She doesn't want to give birth to just one litter of kits, she wants to be a permanent queen. She is caring and kind, and is very gracious to every one of her clanmates, including her leader. Brackenleaf has no way to pursue her dream just yet, but she hopes that one day the right tom will come along. Some of the elders(random) just shake their heads at her. In their minds, warriors should always be quick to take action and be willing to unsheathe their claws before asking questions. Brackenleaf isn't like that. She is definitely loyal and willing to fight for her clan, but hates when blood is spilled unnecessarily. She will try to find non-violent solutions to problems before drawing her claws.

Brackenleaf was a very lively kit, born to Streamstep(her father) and an unknown queen. Brackenleaf is definitely and positively a clan cat, and so were both her parents. Unfortunately she never knew her mother. She was always frightened her mother might be a rogue or loner, as she knew her clanmates would look down on her because of it. But her father reassured her several times her mother was indeed alive and part of SparkClan, though she did not wish to cause scandal. Streamstep made the difficult decision of telling Brackenkit that it wasn't proper for her mother to have kits at that time, but that she would always be near and watching after Brackenkit closely.

Brackenleaf was a wonderful apprentice. Of course, she didn't get everything at all on her first try. In fact, she usually had to try several times before getting her hunting crouch just right, or doing a battle move perfectly. Hunting came much more quickly to Brackenpaw than combat. Although she would talk about becoming a mighty and fierce warrior when she was a kit, she now seemed to have lost all will to fight. Only when protecting her other clanmates did she even have the ferocity needed for a warrior when fighting. She spent a lot of time with the medicine cat, and for awhile she began to think that was the correct path for her pawsteps to follow. Only until she witnessed one of her friends give birth after she became a warrior did Brackenleaf realize she wished to be a mother. A mother who would fight tooth and claw for her clan, and to the death for her kits. Now while carrying out her warrior duties, Brackenleaf pushes the thought to the back of her mind. But as she falls asleep each night in the warriors den, dreams and hopes of her future as a mother wash over her, and she waits for the right tome to come along.
